My Favorite Watercolor Brushes
I have been using the Silver Black Velvet brushes for awhile now and I can’t imagine life without them. I was trying to articulate exactly why I love these brushes so much.
- This is going to seem silly but the paint on the handle never chips off. I have had brushes before that I really liked but the handle wears out and the paint chips off.
- Speaking of the handle, it has a nice tapered one. It fits nicely in my hands.
- The crimp on the brush is not noticeable. It is smooth and blends into the handle nicely.
- The belly of the brush holds the perfect amount of liquid for my liking. It is very natural for me.
- The hair of the brush is a combination of natural and synthetic. I do not know all the science to this but I am told this is the most important component to a brush. All i can say it that it is absolutely fabulous.
- The tip of the brush holds its point. So many times I use one brush for the project. I could not do this with my other brushes.
